Dear Redondo Residents,
Your safety and security are our top priorities. To ensure a prompt and effective response to any safety concerns or criminal activities, we urge you to familiarize yourself with the following guidelines:
Immediate Threats or Crimes in Progress:
- DIAL 9-1-1 Immediately: If you witness a crime in progress or any situation that requires urgent police, fire, or medical response, don't hesitate to call 9-1-1. Your quick action can make all the difference.
Non-Emergency Situations:
- Non-Emergency Line (206) 878-2121: If you notice suspicious activity or need to report a crime that has already occurred and there's no immediate danger, please use the non-emergency number.
- Online Crime Reporting: For convenience and efficiency, non-emergent issues can also be reported online. Please visit (http://www.desmoineswa.gov/363/Online-Crime-Reporting) portal to ensure all incidents are documented, even those not called in.
Helpful Resources:
- "Do's and Don'ts" of Dialing 9-1-1: For guidelines on when and how to use emergency services, please refer to When to Dial 9 1 1
- "See Something, Say Something": Inspired by the DHS campaign, we echo the sentiment: it's always better to report a concern than to wish you had later. Your vigilance is crucial in maintaining the safety of our community.
Remember, your involvement is key to our shared security. If you're unsure whether a situation warrants a 9-1-1 call, err on the side of caution and make the call. It's always better to be safe than sorry.
For any questions, or to discuss any concerns you may have, please don't hesitate to reach out to your Redondo Community Association (RCA). Together, we can ensure that our community remains a safe, secure, and enjoyable place for all.
With appreciation for your cooperation and vigilance,
Redondo Community Association
